'Emotions and confusion sink deep within the body rather than rising, weighing heavily on the ankles. Only when the ‘water depth’ rises to the chin does one sense the body, now submerged and lost—a state difficult to recognize within complex society.'

We invites audiences to explore their own inner ‘water depth’ and share it with others through self-expression. As they write about their water depth, it rises within them; later, connecting with others, they release the rising water's pressure. Individual water depths connect and flow into one place, gradually seeking new relationships as individuals navigating modern society share their anxieties.

This project utilizes cutting-edge technology—including diverse tools for self-expression, Kinect sensor-based interactions, 15,625 customized musical pieces delivered via the web, and large-scale projection mapping—to guide participants in sensually confronting their own anxieties.
